Wine Club and Standing Order Reservations
We have a very special idea of a Wine Club at Vincent Arroyo Winery. Our goal is to make sure that each customer gets exactly the wines that they would like reserved for them each year.
To this end, we have developed a group of STANDING ORDER customers who have annual reservations with us. To begin the process, our customers contact the winery and choose wines to order from the list of wines that we currently have available for order (either current or future). We will process that order and remember it for the future. In January of each year, we generate invoices for each customer that reflects their remembered request with the newest vintage. The invoices are sent out in the mail. Once these invoices reach the customers, they have the opportunity to review their wine selection, make changes (based on personal preferences and the availability of other wines), and confirm the order with a 50% deposit. Each year, the invoice (and Standing Order) can be adjusted so that our customers continue to receive wines that they enjoy. This Standing Order period lasts for one month before any other customers have the opportunity to pre-order wines. The invoice is only a reservation until it has been confirmed. If we do not hear back from the customer, we will cancel the order. There is no obligation in becoming a Standing Order customer.
Once the Standing Order invoice is confirmed each year, the customer is assured of receiving those wines (many wines which sell out before bottling). We bottle our wines each year at the end of the summer. The Standing Orders are available for pickup after September 1st of each year or ship in the fall, weather permitting.
Our Standing Order Customers are very important to us. We offer them special releases that may run out before notice is sent to the mailing list. Additionally, they have the first reminders of the events that occur at the winery each year.
